Women's Baseball Clinic
What is the Women's Baseball Clinic?
Launched in 2022 to great success, the NDGBB Women’s Baseball Clinic is a six-week program designed to integrate more and more moms, aunts, sisters, and female family friends into the game and the association.
Over 25 women participated in 2022, and several went on to become coaches, managers and/or helpers in the 2023 season – in particular with the Bobcats Girls Baseball program.
As we grow the presence and importance of girls baseball in our association, it is crucial to have more and more women and girls involved in our game.
Saturday Afternoon Sessions
The 2022 clinics were held at night, and we discovered that the cold night weather in fall, combined with hockey tryouts and school starting made it challenging for many of the participants to manage. With that in mind, the 2023 Women’s Baseball Clinic would run on Saturday mornings in the timeslot immediately following our Speedball sessions at Lionel Geller Field.
The program will run for 6 weeks, on Saturday afternoons from Sept. 9 to Oct. 14; (Sunday mornings will be reserved in case the Saturday sessions are rained out (ie: If Sat., Sept. 9 is rained out, the session moves to Sunday, Sept. 10). If the Sunday game is rained out, it is cancelled and will not be made up)
The cost for the program is $90 for 6 weeks, paid in advance. Single-session signups will not be offered. (Interac E-transfers only);
The first 5 sessions would be practice-oriented, with the final session being a full game.
Everyone gets a Women's Baseball Clinic long-sleeve t-shirt.

This program is led by Coach Jo, and she'll need several assistants to help run the program. Anyone who coached this season is invited to apply.
Coaches are compensated at $25/hour for the Women's Baseball Clinic: 3 coaches per session. Apply here if you'd like to coach).
