Our Summer Programs

A

The NDG Lynx have been one of Montreal's premier elite-level programs for more than 30 years.

The Lynx play a 20-22 game schedule in the Baseball Quebec Lac St. Louis A League that travels throughout the LSL territory.

Tryouts for Lynx start indoors in mid-March and run until the first week when fields open  as determined by the city.

Divisions 9U-18U will form 1 or 2 A-level teams. These A teams are made up each division's top talent. Players who have been cut will be invited to practice with the A teams. These extra players will on the call-up list and will have the opportunity to improve their skills.

Lynx players are selected based on the criteria found here.

B

The B-level Wildcats program makes up the majority of NDG Baseball's membership.

The Wildcats play an 18-20 game scheduled in the Baseball Quebec Lac St. Louis B League, which includes travel in the LSL territory.

B-level baseball features players ranging from first-timer players up to players who were final cuts from Lynx A teams. Our coaches for these teams focus on improving foundation skills, general game sense and of course teamwork, all in the name of a fun season!

All B teams are called Wildcats as of the 2023 season and will be differentiated by colour (Blue Wildcats, Red Wildcats, etc).

GIRLS

New for the 2023 season, the NDG Bobcats will be made up of girls who wish to play on an all-girls baseball team.

Every girl registered has the choice of where she wants to play. Additionally they are eligible for both the NDG Lynx A team or the LSL A girls regional team. More info on that HERE.

The all-girls league is regional within the Lac St. Louis territory and features girls of various calibres playing together.

The Bobcats may be made up of only NDG players if the numbers are sufficient. If not, the program may run as a shared service between NDG and one or more of our neighbouring partner associations.
